San Francisco-based artist Airyka Rockefeller begins with an introduction to contemporary, multicultural self-portraits to provide inspiration for making your own images during the second half of the class. The workshop includes a visit to Ropes Mansion to stage your shots, a tour of Swiss artist Marianne Mueller's FreePort [No. 002] exhibition and a critique of the group's photographs.
Note: Participants must bring a camera and tripod, have a working knowledge of their equipment and be comfortable using self-timer settings.
