In the first of a new series of gallery talks, The Ansel I Knew, photographer Ross Harris presents a slide presentation "A Visit to Ansel's House." Also, Larissa Leclair presents Current Threads: Contemporary Photobooks from the Indie Photobook Library and artist Kyle Browne leads a drop-in activity for creating art out of surreal, provocative and humorous combinations of images from vintage postcards à la Jerry Uelsmann. Food photographer Nina Gallant of Nina Gallant photography and chef/restaurant owner Dave Becker of Sweet Basil stage a live photo shoot to demonstrate the art of photographing food.

ROSS HARRIS PRESENTS "A VISIT TO ANSEL'S HOUSE"
Photographer Ross Harris visited Ansel Adams's house in Carmel, California in 1967. During the visit, Mr. Harris photographed the interior of Ansel's home, including his darkroom and work rooms. Join Mr. Harris as he shares these images and discusses his experiences getting to know Ansel Adams.
