Anime and manga -- Japanese animation and comic books -- are overseas exports that have taken America by storm. Come celebrate this fascinating medium with a visual music performance by VJ Beyonder Domela, help create the world's largest manga (or at least we'll try!) with professional graphic artists Andy and Veronica Fish and sample some tasty food. We once again partner with The Tannery Series for a engaging conversation led by Roland Kelts, a lecturer at the University of Tokyo and author of the highly regarded Japanamerica, and Robin Brenner, editor-in-chief of the graphic novel review website No Flying No Tights and the teen librarian at the Brookline Public Library. Food tasting provided by the Opus restaurant, Salem.

Cash bar.
