Members are invited to explore PEM’s new Studio Glass gallery. Take in this dazzling collection and hear remarks from the organizing curators while enjoying a cocktail and some light bites.
This diverse selection of contemporary glass represents the work of more than 40 of the most influential glass artists from the 20th century to today. Donated to PEM in 2022 by collectors Carl and Betty Pforzheimer, this collection is remarkable for its range of forms, scale and techniques in glass. The Pforzheimers’ gift significantly expands PEM’s noted historic glass collection while celebrating the extraordinary aesthetic possibilities of sand and fire.
If you would like to join as a member and receive invitations to exhibition openings, tours, special events and programs, as well as complimentary museum admission, please visit pem.org/membership or call 978-542-1641 to purchase an annual membership.
This installation is made possible by Carl & Betty Pforzheimer.
