This month, our live music series in the Main Atrium celebrates the South Asian holiday of Diwali. Also known as Deepavali, this Hindu, Sikh and Jain festival of lights is marked by family visits, religious offerings, festive foods and the lighting of lamps.
Our November performances celebrate the instruments and repertoire of Indian classical music and are co-curated with Amit Kavthekar of the New England School of Music.
Noon–2 pm | November 10 | Sitar player Asawari Jadhav
11:30 am–1:30 pm | November 17 | Sitar player Nouman Khan

Music in the Atrium is PEM’s live concert series that features local and visiting performers from a variety of musical traditions and styles. Concerts take place on select Sundays. Explore upcoming shows at pem.org/events.
