Agustina Woodgate
Born in Buenos Aires in 1981, Agustina Woodgate lives and works between Amsterdam and Buenos Aires. She is best known for her public installations that address social issues by investigating the relationships between people and institutions. Her projects have been commissioned by the Bienal de las Américas, Denver; PlayPublik, Poland; DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities, Washington, DC; The Bass Museum of Art, Miami; Kulturpark, Berlin; and Mass MoCA, Massachusetts, among others. The artist previously exhibited a series of rugs made from deconstructed plush toys in PEM’s 2018 PlayTime exhibition.

Nacida en Buenos Aires en 1981, Agustina Woodgate vive y trabaja entre Ámsterdam y Buenos Aires. Es reconocida por sus instalaciones públicas, con las que aborda problemáticas sociales investigando las relaciones que existen entre la gente y las instituciones. Sus proyectos han sido encargos de la Bienal de las Américas, Denver; PlayPublik, Polonia; DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities, Washington, D.C.; The Bass Museum of Art, Miami; Kulturpark, Berlín; y Mass MoCA, Massachusetts, entre otros. La artista ya había expuesto una serie de alfombras hechas con juguetes de peluche desmontados en la exposición Playtime (Hora de jugar) de PEM en 2018.
