      Reasons to give

Your support makes everything that we do at PEM possible. We are a different kind of museum — one that creates a richer experience for visitors by bringing art, architecture and culture together. We invite you to deepen your own connection to the museum by becoming a steward of our dynamic community. All donors serve as ambassadors for PEM, broadening our reach and championing our mission. Whether you support us through our PEM Fund or as a philanthropic member of the East India Marine Associates, you enable PEM to thrive and ensure that our beloved museum can continue to serve as a space where people of all ages can discover, innovate, share and create new stories.

      Ways to give

      PEM Fund

Connecting people to art – and to one another – is more important than ever, and we couldn't do this work without you. Gifts to the PEM Fund have a direct and immediate impact on the museum's mission to celebrate and share creativity and artistic expression.

      Membership

PEM memberships offer a variety of personalized benefits that give you a stronger connection to the art inside our galleries, as well as programs, exhibition openings, events and more. Your support allows us to share our collection, present thought-provoking exhibitions and celebrate creative expression from around the world.

      GenPEM

Generation PEM (GenPEM) is a community of museum enthusiasts, artists and collectors. We believe creativity is everywhere and transformative experiences await. Enjoy innovative programming, curator-led tours and pop-up events designed to connect living artists and art lovers.

      East India Marine Associates

Members of the East India Marine Associates (EIMA) are PEM's most generous philanthropists, supporting the museum with essential, unrestricted contributions annually that continue what PEM’s founders began in 1799: connecting people to the world’s most fascinating art.

      Legacy Giving

PEM is grateful to those patrons and friends who consider making provisions for the museum in their estate plans. We are happy to work with you, your family and your advisors to answer questions about plans and explore other opportunities.

      Corporate Support

Do you own a company and want to get more involved in your local community? PEM’s mission is made possible by the generous support of business leaders throughout New England and the world. Join a diverse group of leaders as a PEM Corporate Member.

      2. Inspire through our Exhibitions and Programs

      • Includes opportunities to support programming areas such as the Exhibition Innovation Fund and internships

      3. A Campus that Supports our Vision

      • Includes naming opportunities in Plummer Hall and the John Tucker Daland House, as well as in other historic houses and the main museum building

      4. Build Community through Annual Support
