PEM is my go-to for unbound art exploration and is our touchstone for quality art experiences. I am so excited to see how this community-driven group steered by the tenacious Trevor Smith will further broaden creative adventures.

GenPEM starts where a museum normally stops — engaging the community with makers, artists and local businesses through interesting events.

      What we do

      Pop-Ups and Events
Connect with artists, businesses and creative networks. Join our curators at pop-up events in new venues as we bring PEM outside our walls and share unique art experiences.

      Public Events
Be in the know about our innovative and transformative programs. From the museum’s larger-than-life exclusive pop-ups in Boston and beyond, to tastings with local breweries and dynamic art making workshops, there’s truly something for everyone to enjoy.

      Listening Rounds
We are currently designing GenPEM around your feedback and ideas. Join us at our next listening round, where we meet informally to hear your response to our events and generate ideas for future projects.
