Kalyn Fay
Kalyn Fay Barnoski is a Cherokee (Tsa-La-Gi) musician, fine artist, and graphic designer. She has received a BFA in Graphic Design from Rogers State University, a Master of Arts in Graphic Design and Printmaking from The University of Tulsa, and is currently pursuing an MFA in Printmaking from the University of Arkansas. She is interested in elevating awareness of the contemporary and historical Indigenous experience through creating platforms for Indigenous artists, musicians, and writers. Recently, she was awarded a grant to pursue a billboard project along the Trail of Tears to promote contemporary Indigenous artists within the tribal nations affected. Her personal work in both visual art and music is fueled by cultural survival and creating pathways to encourage future generations of Indigenous peoples.
