Mimi Leveque
Mimi Leveque is a conservator of objects and textiles with a special interest in archaeological materials, in particular ancient Egyptian artifacts. She has worked for over 30 years on the examination and conservation of Egyptian mummies and coffins. In addition to conservation work at PEM, Mimi has worked at the Rhode Island School of Design Museum, Providence and at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. She has done archaeological field conservation in such far-flung places as Iran, Pakistan, Syria, Italy, Peru and England.
