Daniel Finamore
Daniel Finamore has organized more than 15 exhibitions of American and European painting and decorative arts at PEM. In doing so, he has received grants for his research and exhibition projects from a diverse range of funders, including the National Endowment for the Humanities, the National Science Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts. In his role as Associate Director of Exhibitions, Finamore identifies and develops exhibition strategies that broaden PEM’s existing visitorship to include new and more diverse audiences. He served as curator or co-curator of In American Waters: The Sea in American Painting and Ocean Liners: Glamour, Speed, and Style (co-organized with the Victoria & Albert Museum).
